a) Data Controller and Representative
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), your personal data may be processed by trex Digital Manufacturing as the data controller within the scope explained below.
As the Data Controller, we would like to inform you that the personal data you may have provided to trex can be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties under legally permitted conditions, classified, and processed in ways listed in the PDPL within the conditions and limits explained below. Detailed explanations regarding these elements can be found below.
b) Purposes for Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data will be processed for the purposes of ensuring the legal and commercial security of trex and individuals in a business relationship with trex; ensuring the execution of trex's human resources policies; determining and implementing trex’s commercial and business strategies, within the personal data processing conditions and purposes stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL.
c) To Whom and for What Purpose the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred for the purposes of ensuring the legal and commercial security of trex and individuals in a business relationship with trex; ensuring the execution of trex's human resources policies; determining and implementing trex’s commercial and business strategies, to our business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions, and private persons, within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes stated in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL.
ç) Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected by trex through various channels and based on different legal grounds to carry out our activities. The personal data collected for this legal reason can be processed and transferred within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes stated in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL and the purposes stated in sections (b) and (c) of this Clarification Text.
d) Cookies
Various types of cookies are used on our website (including all digital platforms such as mobile applications). These include session cookies, persistent cookies, mandatory cookies, functionality cookies, analytical cookies, commercial cookies, and third-party cookies.
Cookies are small data pieces placed on computers and mobile devices to ensure the proper functioning and improvement of the websites visited, personalize and enhance user experience, allow visiting the sites without logging in, and/or send commercial-social notifications (even when the internet browser and/or relevant mobile application are closed) to users. e) Rights of the Personal Data Owner under Article 11 of the PDPL
As personal data owners, when you submit your requests regarding your rights, as detailed below, trex will resolve them free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, trex will charge the tariff determined. In this context, personal data owners have the following rights:
• To learn whether personal data is processed,
• To request information if personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and to request notification of this to the third parties to whom the data is transferred,
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for its processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, and to request notification of this to the third parties to whom the data is transferred,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To demand compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
In accordance with the first paragraph of Article 13 of the PDPL, you can submit your request regarding the use of your rights mentioned above to trex in writing or via other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. As the Board has not yet determined any other methods, you must submit your application to trex in writing, as required by the mandatory provision of the PDPL. In this context, you can send your request, specifying which right you wish to exercise under Article 11 of the PDPL, with necessary identification information and your explanations, to the address 19 Mayıs Mah.
